Commissioned illustrations for two satirical magazines

I made an editorial illustration for the Magazine “il Frico”.
A portrait of a worker beaten by his boss.

In this issue of the satirical magazine called “il Frico”, I made an illustration of the tomb of Duke Gisulf discovered in 1874 in Cividale in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy). Dating back to the 7th century, it is a monumental burial.
The discovery plays a significant role in local history. If you want to know some historical facts and information about Cividale, read this article.

The flag of the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Friulian: Bandiere dal Friûl-Vignesie Julie) depicts a golden eagle facing to its right standing on white fortifications on a blue background. I made my satirical version for the magazine “il Frico”.
